A Dazzling Winter Wedding
Cara and Izzy were married at the Wychmere Beach Club in Cape Cod on New Year’s Eve. A wedding is always a great celebration, but adding the New Year’s Eve element to it brings everyone along for the fun into the wee hours of the night. Celebrating the love of the couple and celebrating the festivity of a new year – a perfect date for a wedding, something no guest would forget.
The Wychmere Beach Club is located along the Nantucket Sound, with beautiful beaches. It is a quintessential Cape Cod venue, with nautical features and a relaxed style.
What New Year’s eve is possible without the glitter and sparkles? Certainly not this one! The maid of honor wore a sparkly gold dress and the bridesmaids wore shiny midnight blue gowns. Cara had gold shoes and accents. In addition, the centerpieces had a clock so the guests could track the time. The DJ also provided a live feed of the New York Times Square festivities all the way through the countdown.
Cara and Izzy opted for a first look prior to the ceremony. They had their dog Charlie as part of this moment. The first look was on the boardwalk at sunset, with freezing temperatures and wind chill. Cara had a custom-made blanket with their names and wedding date that she used to keep warm.
Their wedding vows were done in secret and when spoken during the ceremony they complemented each other perfectly. It was a perfect ceremony. Lots of tears and laughs. Both bride and groom were responsible for all the attendees laughing and crying.
The dinner reception room was upstairs in the Wychmere Beach Club venue and had an ocean view. It was immaculate and perfect. This was an unforgettable New Year’s Eve wedding.
