A wedding on the Cape Cod is laid-back and effortless, with an idyllic charm of white Adirondack chairs, slow-moving days, and perhaps coupled with memories of childhood summers spent on these beaches. From Falmouth to Brewster, we’ve captured couples in the most quintessential Cape Cod settings: lighthouses and sunsets on the beach. Here’s a glimpse at some of these weddings.
Lesley and Stephen were married at the Popponesset Inn in Mashpee, Cape Cod. The forecast for the day was all-day rain. As they were saying their “I do’s” – literally when they were saying these vows – the intense dark clouds parted and a stream of sunlight exactly lighted where they were standing. As soon as the ceremony was over, we ushered them outside to capture this sunset.
Monica and Matt had their reception at the Flying Bridge in Falmouth. Monica got ready at the Coonamessett Inn, had their ceremony at Our Lady of Victory in Centerville, and the bridal photos in Falmouth before heading to the reception.
Kelly and Jon had a backyard wedding at their home in Cape Cod. What could be more meaningful than having guests enjoy your most memorable day in your backyard?
